Hindley Green Residents Association

Local people who want to improve their neighbourhood or local environment often start a Residents Association. Hindley Green Residents Association (HGRA). is a group of ordinary people who care about Hindley Green and who work together to improve it.

Hindley Green is a parish (C.E.) and local council ward (Wigan) It lies to the east of Hindley, Greater Manchester, Lancashire. It follows  the main  A577 Atherton Road to its boundary with Leigh.

The Hindley Green Ward includes the areas of Hindley Green and The Hollins. The ward has an overall population of 10641 spread across 4162 households, 
 It comprises four churches (St.John the Evangelist CE, Sacred Heart RC & The Family Church at Bethel & Hindley Green Methodist Church), It has three  primary schools, (Hindley Green CP, St John's CE Primary & Sacred Heart RC Primary) and many pubs.
