The Hindley Green Residents Association ( HGRA ) is finally up and running as an official residents association.
The Annual General Meeting held on the 7th May 2008 was chaired by the temporary chairman Councillor Barry Fagan.
The HGRA Constitution was adopted and an election of a new committee took place.
The meeting was then handed over to the newly elected chairman John Vickers.
Other committee members elected were:
Vice Chairperson: Sheila Woodward.
Secretary: Debbie Birchall.
Treasurer: Eric Dickens
Committee members:

The newly elected councilor for the Hindley Green Ward ( Bob Brierley ) kindly donated £1000 from his Brighter Borough funding to the association to help get HGRA established. This donation is at present in the process of being accepted.
Membership of the association is by application and is open to all residents of the Hindley Green Ward. Membership forms are available from the secretary or by completing an online membership form, on the HGRA website.
